I employ only 3 people but one of the guys in the shop (we sell flights) always seemed to be the less productive compared to the other staff and put it down to him not being as good at sales as the other two but one day I caught him looking at golf items on the internet and had to tell him to get back to dealing with enquiries. Then I saw your advert on the Internet about being able to check what employees are doing on their PC's at work soI thought i would give it a go....and by were you right. I purchased it on the Tuesday evening and it was up and running within the hour. OK...I know you want to know what happened. Well no wonder his sales were so slow! He was chatting in chat rooms with friends, browsing the net...he even did his shopping online with Walmart!! Anyway I bet you can guess what happened next...yes he was fired, less 2 days pay for time wasting. I showed him the logs of what he had been doing and then i showed him the screen images of what he had been doing and he just could not believe it...he said "How the hell did you do that"... I was concerned not about her downloading illegal movies or software but about how much time chatting in a perticular chat room she was doing so I decided to make sure that it was nothing too sinister (I hated having to spy on my little girl but I knoew it was in the best interest). I set up the software on her PC while she was at school and set it up to start running at the times she was usually on the Internet. I left it for a few days and then again while Julie (thats my daughter) was at school I reviewed the chats she had had. I looked over the chat text and looked at the screen grabs and all seemed OK (that was a relief) until I noticed that as soon as some boy called Josh turned up they went to a private room to talk. I really don't want to go into anymore detail as it was quite upsetting to read. All I will say is I'm glad I did what I did and I would do it again. This was no boy....and I don't really care if it was a boy, man or woman. It was disgusting, worrying and leading down the path for them to meet up ne day (when she was meant to be in school)...it was vary frightning. Sadly I had to face my daughter about it. She was upset and embarrassed but in the end she knew whay i had done it and when I pointed out what seemed to be happening she admitted that she was blinded by this funny, interesting and what seemed to be genuine person and now she re read the text and saw the images she felt so foolish.
